"Incorporating Hunters Lodge Rifle Club"

Welcome to the Old Sergeants Mess Shooting Club

History:

ClubhouseIn the heart of England's National Shooting Centre stands the Old Sergeants Mess. The large colonial building, which stands on the right of the green as you enter Bisley Camp was originally constructed at the turn of the century as an Army Officer's Mess. After a period of being virtually derelict , the Kensington Rifle and Pistol Club took it over. The refurbishment works since then have included new Oak flooring and panelling, complete redecoration, renovation of the Verandah, a large BBQ area and all new Colonial style furniture. The final effect gives the impression of a scene out of a turn of the century film about India or Africa. A viewed shared by the BBC when they used the club as a set for filming a Julian Fellows murder mystery about Lord Erroll in Africa. After a restructuring in 2008, the Old Sergeants Mess Shooting Club took up residence.
